Vision

The objective of the JCCI-Redemption Chapel Media Ministry is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our virtually and visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a tool for worship and outreach.

Ministry Mission

The Media Ministry at Broadmoor exists to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through technology by creating a dynamic environment for worship and effective communication while developing genuine relationships with each other.

Our team has several areas of focus including audio, lighting, video production, live production, and real time technical support.

Our mission

  • To glorify God by ensuring that His Word and our praise and song to Him is seen and heard clearly and without distraction or interference within our local church and throughout the world as it’s broadcasted or distributed on media with the highest video, audio, and production quality available.
  • To enhance the worship experience, communicating with the congregation, extending the congregation beyond the walls of the church, and transmitting the gospel message globally.
  • To provide the technical support required for our worship services as well as records various events, teachings and sermons, which are made available on DVD and USB and other media for viewing and podcasting here on our web site.
  • To provide comprehensive media coverage and services for all events at JCCI-Redemption Chapel such as Sunday morning worship, special services, youth events, choir festivals, and all other congregational meetings and gatherings.
  • To run the soundboard for the worship band and speakers, sets up all of the necessary equipment and ensures that they run smoothly, distribute audio or video recordings of the sermon, stream Church services live on Facebook, YouTube and on television or by creating a live stream on the church’s website.
  • To broadcast live audio and video to the worship center and internet as well as recording audio and video during regular church services and special events.
  • To edit audio and video recordings services and other special events for archive, broadcast, and production.
  • To see to the production, duplication, and distribution of recorded audio and video files to fulfill order requests, sermon messages and other special events.
  • To provide audio and video support for evangelistic outreach and other special events outside of the church building.

Roles and responsibilities

Director

Responsible for the recording of the worship service by supervising and instructing the camera operators over headphones during the services.

Video Camera Operators

The camera operators works behind the camera during services and acts as the eyes of the director. The director will communicate over headphones as to what he or she wants the camera to be doing.

Audio/Video Engineer

Responsible for the control of the volume levels for all mics and instruments used on the stage mixed in the media booth or video control room.

Image (Easy Worship)

Responsible for the media booth, working on a computer to change scriptures, lyrics, announcements that are projected on the projection screens.

Web Team

Responsible for contributing to the web content by using writing, editing or photography skills with the use of content management system or dashboard that allows us to add content to the site without the need for coding or programming skills. This team also provides content and maintenance for our Facebook and Twitter sites.

Photographer

Responsible for a digital camera, sharing files online and taking pictures of people, church life, services and events taken and edited on a regular basis.

Graphic Designers

If you are familiar with desktop publishing software like InDesign, Photoshop Elements or others that are similar for layout and image creation, there are many ways your skills can help. There is a constant need to promote announcements and events through our web site, signage and other digital media.
